For lovers of finely decorative art, symbolism, and the “belle époque” aesthetic, this is a precious opportunity in an intimate and evocative setting.
From 24/25 October 2025 to 6 January 2026, the exhibition “The Gold and the Soul. Prints by Gustav Klimt” will be hosted at Palazzo delle Contesse in Mel (Borgo Valbelluna – BL).
A selection of original prints allows visitors to immerse themselves in the symbolic, decorative, and revolutionary world of the Austrian artist, famous for his “golden phase” and the use of gold, as suggested by the title.
The exhibition, unique in Italy and even requested abroad (including Vienna), consists entirely of original works produced using collotype — a graphic printing technique almost impossible to reproduce today due to its technical, chromatic, and economic complexity. All works on display belong to a private collection.
